Southwest Photo Adventure offers workshops and photography tours. The difference between the two is that photo tours are for a private person or a small group that has a specific trip in mind and wants go during a specific time, while workshops (groups of 3-5 photographers) have a program set by me and at a defined time in the year. So it is up to you what kind of coaching you prefer.

I will pick you up preferentially at the airport in Albuquerque, NM or any international airport in the Four Corners area. We will begin the trip right away or the next morning, depending on your arrival time. Whether you are a beginner with a new digital camera, or a seasoned pro, the scenery will take your breath away and the photographs will last a lifetime! Lodging and meals are not included in the tour prices, but I will be glad to recommend great places to stay whether it be luxurious, resourceful or even primitive. I will be your guide and photography instructor, so that you can learn as much as you would like in awesome landscapes.
You need to be physically fit enough to participate in outdoor photography exercises in field locations. I will do everything to take you to your areas of interest. Most of the excursions are day trips based out of motels in proximity to the places of interest. All trips can be expanded from very short hikes and drive-up overlooks to daypack hikes taking several hours or more.
Other fantastic places we visit are Arches National Park, Bryce Canyon, Canyonlands National Park, Painted Desert and Petrified Forest National Park, Canyon De Chelly, Chaco Canyon, Mesa Verde National Park, Natural Bridges, White Sand Dunes as well as many Native American ruins and petroglyph sites. I can also organize photo tours to California (Alabama Hills, Bodie Historic State Park, Death Valley National Park, Kings Canyon National Park, Mammoth Lakes, Mono Lake, Sequoia National Park, Yosemite National Park), Oregon (along the coast, Crater Lake National Park, John Day National Monument, home of the "Painted Hills") and Washington (Mount Rainier National Park, Mount St. Helens).
